The EX-Z500 is the latest entry into the EXILIM Zoom range, featuring a 5MP CCD, 3x optical zoom and Anti-Shake DSP technology.
Camera shake is a problem encountered by many photographers, often occuring when shooting moving objects or in dim light, Anti-Shake DSP technology is designed to reduce unsightly blur effects.
With a body 20.5mm deep, the EX-Z500 retains the thin dimensions of other cameras in the EXILIM range, while Casio promises a shutter release time lag of 0.007 seconds and 0.9 seconds until the first shot, once the camera is powered on.
Featuring a 2.7-inch LCD screen composed of 156,000 pixels, the EX-Z500 has the largest capacity of any battery in Casio?s digital camera line-up, with the ability to take 500 images from a single charge, according to CIPA standard.
High Sensitivity Mode enables photographs to be taken in low-light conditions without the need for the flash, other features include an AF assist lamp, Flash Assist, Auto Macro and Quick Shutter.
