Canon has announced the replacement to its popular PowerShot A470, in the shape of the PowerShot A480.

The new model – available in either silver, red, blue or black – features a 10MP sensor, 3.3x optical zoom, and is now 25% smaller than its predecessor.

The Canon PowerShot A480 also features the companies DIGIC III processor, which it claims ‘delivers high image quality and superb colour reproduction’, along with Face Detection Technology and Motion Detection Technology.

Expect the see the AA battery powered PowerShot A480 in stores from this February, with a guide price of £129.99
