New DSLR in the hands of professional filmmaker Philip Bloom
The new Canon EOS 7D, launched in August this year, offers the same high-quality video shooting capabilities as its stablemate – the 5D Mk.II.
The quality of video recorded is such that, in the right hands, the EOS 7D turns from merely a DSLR into a serious professional video shooting proposition.
Professional filmmaker and tutor Philip Bloom is the barer of one such pair of hands. On a recent two-day workshop in Dublin, Philip had the chance to ‘play’ with the new EOS 7D, in combination with a range of professional filmmaking accessories, and came up with some truly stunning results.
