‘Searching For Sonny’ first to be captured entirely on a DSLR
A group of independent filmmakers have become the first to use a DSLR to capture an entire feature film.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark II, complete with full HD video capture, was used for the forthcoming ‘Searching For Sonny’ film.
While this is the first film to be captured in such a way, the video capabilities of DSLRs are becoming such that this is surely the first of many.
As you can see in the short trailer below, the quality is very impressive. Keep your eyes on the ‘Searching For Sonny’ page for the full trailer, due on 15th April.
