Version 1.1.1 fixes issues with false battery level display and other minor issues

Canon has released a new firmware update for its EOS 40D, in the shape of version 1.1.1.

The fix corrects a malfunction that caused a low battery indication to display when using the EF 85mm F1.2L II USM lens, and also fixes an error which caused the ‘Err 06’ self cleaning sensor malfunction to display erratically.

The new firmware also enables an external flash connected to the camera’s synchro terminal even when the camera’s built-in flash is popped up, amongst several other fixes.
