Adobe has released the Photoshop Photography program we reported on a couple of weeks ago.

For £8.78 per month, owners of Photoshop CS3-6 can now gain access to Photoshop, Lightroom, Behance, online storage and Creative Cloud Learn.

As was promised at the announcement of the new program, Adobe has also released Lightroom 5.2. Updates to the latest version include a new Smoothness adjustment slider under Colour Noise Reduction that reduces low-frequency mottled-colour artifacts created by noise reduction.

The Spot Healing tool has been refined with a new Feather control, and Auto Exposure has been improved to be more consistent.

Lightroom 5.2 has also been updated to support recent camera releases, including the Canon 70D, the Fujifilm X-A1 and the Olympus OM-D E-M1. For the complete list of updates and changes, head to Adobe’s blog. To read our original review of Lightroom 5, click here.

Adobe also announced the release of Camera Raw 8.2. The big new feature here is an interactive histogram, which provides the new ability to adjust Blacks, Shadows, Exposure, Highlights and Whites by clicking and dragging the histogram.

The new Camera Raw also includes the same Smoothness adjustment slider and Spot Healing tool refinements as the new Lightroom, as well as the ability to define a rectangular area of adjustment for the white balance eyedropper tool. For the complete rundown, go here.

Finally, the firm has also announced that Creative Cloud has passed the million-subscriber mark, which it claimed in a statement is ahead of its predictions for adoption of the new model. There is, indeed, no going back.
