Adobe has released a new update for Photoshop CS4. The update, version 11.0.1, addresses several issues raised by customers that impact on the overall performance of the software.

Amongst the improvements are the ability to correctly recognise 3D textures edited by plug-ins, improved quality of Auto-Blend Layers, and fixing of issues which can be caused by corrupt fonts.

Update 11.0.1 is available as a free download for existing Photoshop CS4 customers, either through the Adobe website, or via the Adobe updater located in the application itself.
