Adobe has announced the availability of both Camera Raw 5.5 and DNG Converter 5.5 for download in release candidate format.

The update offers Raw file support for four of the most recent camera launches, including the Nikon D300s, D3000, Olympus E-P1 and Panasonic DMC-FZ35. The release candidate also includes a correction to the demosaic algorithms in the raw conversion process for Bayer sensor cameras with unequal green response.

As the update is in release candidate form, Adobe is inviting additional feedback from the Adobe online community before publishing the finalised version. To download the updates, visit Adobe labs.
