Acer has unveiled a new addition to its burgeoning line up of compact cameras.
The 8-megapixel CP-8660 will head up the company’s existing lineup as it’s flagship shooter, offering a 2.8? LCD screen, 6x optical zoom and PictBridge compatibility.
The CP-8660 is also Acer?s first camera to come equipped with anti-shake DSP (Digital Signal Processor) technology, which it hopes will appeal to consumers when used in conjuction with the camera?s extended zoom Acer Precision lens.
Sculpted in matt black aluminium housing and weighing in at 180g, the CP-8660 also offers video recording (at maximum 640 x 480 pixel resolution at 30 fps), with voice, enabling users to voice-caption their pictures while shooting digital stills.
