Nissin has announced the release of a new universal flash shoe extension cord – the SC-01. Specifically designed for off-camera flash, its 1.5m coiled cable allows use both on a bracket and hand held. It also has the bonus of not requiring a conversion switch for different camera manufacturers, owing to its multiple contact pins allowing TTL use with Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Pentax and Samsung cameras.
The SC-01 is compatible with Nissin's own flashguns, as well was Canon's E-TTL, E-TTL II flash systems, Nikon i-TTL flash systems and Pentax P-TTL flash systems.
