Western Digital has expanded the recently introduced My Cloud family with the My Cloud EX4, a four-bay network-attached storage solution. The EX4 features Western Digital’s WD Red line of hard drives. Users can purchase a driveless version to fit with their own storage needs, or versions with 8TB, 12TB or 16TB capacity. Easy-Slide Drive allows drives to be swapped within seconds. HD Pentax DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR

This new 20-40mm (30.5mm to 61.5mm equivalent) APS-C optimised K-mount lens is the first zoom lens in Ricoh’s Limited Lens series, and is also the first in the series to feature Ricoh’s weather-sealed constuction. The HD Pentax DA 20-40mm has a maximum aperture of f/2.8 at its shortest focal length, and its design incorporates Extra-Low Dispersion elements and a proprietary HD coating. Q-system 08 Wide Zoom lens

The most compact ultra-wide angle zoom lens available today, Ricoh claims, the 08 wide zoom lens offers a focal length of 17.5mm to 27.5mm (in 35mm format) when mounted on a Pentax Q7 in a barrel only 38 millimetres in length. The 08 wide zoom is available exclusively for Pentax’s Q system, and its design features a moulded-glass Dual Super Asperhical element to minimise distortion, two Extra-low Dispersion elemens and one super-low dispersion element, compensating for chromatic aberration over the entire zoom range. Profoto B1 Off-camera Flash with TTL

Profoto has introduced a new versatile off-camera flash with a TTL remote for Canon E-TTL II cameras. The Air Remote supplied with the flash attaches to the camera’s hot shoe, and the light automatically adjusts its output in accordance with shooting conditions. Manual output control is also available. As the B1 connects with the remote wirelessly and is powered by an Li-Ion battery, it is completely cordless. One battery charge will provide up to 220 full-power flashes at 500Ws of light, which can be moderated in 1/10 f-stop steps. The B1 also features Quick Burst mode, which allows for up to 20 flashes per second at a lower power setting. The B1 is expected to be available in December, with the Air Remote TTL-C for Canon sold seperately. Nikon compatibility is expected in 2014. www.profoto.com
