Open to amateurs and professionals alike, the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition is unique among photographic competitions in that all entrants can request – and receive – feedback on their images after judging has concluded.
Judges will select 100 finalists from the pool of entires, who will go on to have their images shown at several major exhibitions around the country.
Winners and runners-up will be selected in each of the nine categories, which will include 'The Beauty of Plants', 'Beautiful Gardens, 'Wildflower Landscapes' and others. From these winning images, one will be crowned International Garden Photographer of the Year. A photographer under 16 will win 'Young Garden Photographer of the Year'.
The ultimate winner will receive a prize of £5000, and there's also a £2000 prize up for grabs for the best portfolio.
The competition opened in March of this year, and the final deadline for entires to be received is midnight tonight (October 31st).
Head to the International Garden Photographer of the Year website to see full terms and conditions and enter the competition.
