Fujifilm has launch a new wideangle converter for the X100 large sensor compact camera. This new adapter will multiply the current 23mm (or 35mm in 35mm equivalent) by 0.8 giving the camera a 19mm (or 28mm in 35mm) focal length.
As the X100 is a fixed lens compact camera the adapter will attach to the existing lens rather than replacing it. The WCL-X100 has been engineered not to affect the camera's functionality and autofocus speeds should remain constant.
For more information on the WCL-X100 head to Fujifilm's website, with the price and release date yet to be confirmed.
