A 10x optical zoom camera with a 16MP sensor and 3inch LCD screen, the Fujifilm T400 looks impressive...

Fujifilm’s new T400 compact offers the kind of specs and holidaymaker would be desperate for, from a 10x optical zoom to the 16MP sensor, 3inch screen and HD movie mode. Add to this a wide variety of available colours and 28mm wide angle lens and anyone heading to warmer climates this year would be well advised to investigate further.

Pocketable compact cameras with a comparably hefty optical zoom are all the rage at the moment, and the T400 looks to fit comfortably in with the competition. Although the RRP has yet to be confirmed, the T400 looks to be relatively cheap, which is bound to be a bonus. There aren’t any manual modes to speak of, but there’s an amount of control over the likes of flash and white balance.
