Kodak's new range of Easyshare cameras features several firsts for the company, and it also introduces new video cameras, printers and a photoframe.

The key feature of the Kodak Easyshare Touch is a 3inch high resolution capacitive touchscreen LCD. Also included in the spec is a 14MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, 720p HD movie recording and the ability to share stills and video online directly from the camera. The RRP is £129.99

The budget Kodak Easyshare Mini is Kodak’s smallest ever digital camera. It comes with a 10MP sensor, 3x zoom, 2.5in LCD screen, and features a mirror on the front for easy self-portraits. It comes with a suitably tiny price tag – just £79.99.

The Kodak Easyshare Sport is the company’s first waterproof digital camera. With a 12MP sensor and 2.4in LCD you can safely take it underwater to a depth of 3 metres and it costs just £59.99, making one of the cheapest waterproof compacts available.
The Kodak Easyshare Max features a 30x zoom with optical stabilisation, and a 12MP BSI (back side illuminated) CMOS sensor for better low light performance. The high end spec also includes a 3inch HVGA LCD display and full 1080p HD video mode.

All four cameras will be available in Spring 2011.

Two
new video cameras cater to opposite ends of the spectrum as far as
usage is concerned, with the Playfull (£129.99) being aimed at
occasional shooting for social networking uploads and the Playsport
(£149.99) being a shock, dust and waterproof camera for the more extreme
sport-inclined shooter. Both have 1080p HD video quality and can take
5MP stills.

Kodak also announced a new version of its Pulse wireless photoframe,
which offers social networking tools to upload and comment on images. It
costs £119.99 for the 7-inch and £169.99 for the 10-inch versions.

Finally Kodak launched two new sub £100 all-in-one printers. The C110 (£69.99) and C310 (£89.99) use Kodak’s new pigment based (but still low cost) 30 Series ink system (£6.99 for black, £12.99 for colour cartridges).
