Sigma lens line up at PMA 2010

PMA 2010: Sigma announce 5 new lenses video preview: Sigma's latest announcements include some handy updates of existing models in the form of the 17-50mm f/2.8, 70-200mm and 50-500mm, now with optical stabilisation, a new fast portrait prime lens, an 85mm f/1.4 and an extra wide 8-16mm zoom.

The 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM is a fast full frame lens that is ideal for portrait and low light work. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting and the HSM motor ensures brisk and quiet focusing. 

The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM is a high performance full frame telephoto lens that now feature Sigma's Optical Image Stabisation for up to four stops slower shutter speeds. It also features the Super Multi-Layer Coating and the HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) focusing.

The mighty 50-500mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM offers a 10x zoom ratio, which combined with the crop factor of APS-C sensors can produce focal lengths of up to 750mm. This lens is designed for use on full frame cameras too, and can be combined with the Sigma 1.4x or 2x teleconverters for even more magnification. The 50-500mm also now includes the OS Optical Image Stabilisation and HSM focusing. 

The Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM is a high quality standard zoom and is designed specifically for APS-C use. It features Optical Stabilisation, two FLD low dispersion glass elements and the Super Multi-Layer Coating.

For ultra wide shooting the Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM is the perfect solution. Designed for use with APS-C sensor cameras it offers a focal equivalent of 12-24mm, with up to a 121.2 degree field of view. It features four FLD low dispersion glass elements and a hybrid aspherical lens. Focusing is kept internal and there's the full array of Super Multi-Layer Coating and HSM focusing too.
