Samsung has continued a busy day of announcements with the release of the L83T.

Combining many of the design features of the NV series, the L83T offers an 8.2MP sensor, 3x optical zoom and maximum ISO 1600. Face recognition is also present, alongside Samsung?s ASR image stabilisation system.

Samsung?s Wise Shot feature is also at hand on the L83T, which when enabled takes two shots in rapid succession, one with ASR enabled and one with the flash, and then prompts the user to keep the preferred version.


Expect to see the L83T in stores from August 2007 with a two year warranty and an RRP of £179.
