Sony announces Photo Go editing and management software

Sony’s Media Software division has launched what it claims is an easy to use image editing, organisation and sharing tool in Photo Go. Standard tweaks such as rotating, straightening, cropping photos and removing red eye can be implemented along with the ability to manage photos by date, month and rating. The more experienced user can also create customised searches. Absolute beginners, by contrast, have ‘Show Me How’ tutorials as a helping hand. Support is provided for common file formats, including the regulars of JPEG and TIFF. Completed images can then be viewed as a sideshow or uploaded to Sony’s ImageStation site, where prints or photo gifts can be ordered.
