Samsung introduces second DSLR

The 6MP GX-1L is the second DSLR to be jointly developed between Pentax and Samsung.

The 6MP GX-1L is the second DSLR to be jointly developed between Pentax and Samsung. Available in kit form with an 18-55mm Schneider D_XENON lens, the GX-1L is compatible with existing Pentax KAF2 and KAF mount lenses. With dimensions of 125x92.5x67mm the GX-1L is compact, and includes a pentamirror viewfinder with 96% field of view and a 2.5in LCD, which is composed of 210,000 pixels. Billed as an ‘entry-level DSLR,’ the GX-1L features manual exposure modes alongside a selection of automatic features, including eight scene modes. Choose from 16-segment multi-pattern, spot and centre-weighted metering and a selection of white balance settings. The GX-1L boasts continuous shooting at a rate of 2.8fps for five frames in Jpeg mode and three in RAW and a five-point wide area Auto Focus system.
