Aimed at enthusiast photographers, the Olympus SP-320 has a 7.1MP CCD and 38-114mm (35mm equivalent), 3x optical zoom.
In common with the SP-500 and SP-350 that were released last year, the camera offers a gamut of exposure modes, including: manual, program, aperture and shutter priority and 25 scene modes.
Alongside manual, auto-focusing options include: multi-spot (selecting from 143 points), iESP and spot. The SP-320 includes a high sensitivity level of ISO 800 for low-light photography, a 2.5in LCD with live histogram (playback and record), and RAW shooting.
Super Macro mode can focus 2cm away from the subject, while the camera captures VGA movies at a rate of 30fps until the memory card reaches maximum capacity. Supporting the xD-Picture Card format, pictures can also be stored on the 25MB internal memory.
Extend the focal length to 193mm with the additional TCON-17F conversion lens; while the PT-030 underwater case enables the camera to be used up to 40m underwater.
