Available in capacities of 40GB, 60GB, 80GB and 100GB, the V6230 supports 13 types of memory card including: SecureDigital, CompactFlash and Memory Stick, through three card slots.

Pictures and video are displayed on the 2.5 inch TFT LCD, which also provides menu information.

You can create JPEG slideshows with music that can be viewed on television, using the Photo to Display function, and users can also zoom in and rotate individual photographs.

The 2.5 inch hard drive can utilise varying spin speeds (installable before purchase) of 4200, 5400 and 7200 rpm.

Also worth a mention is the USB 2.0 support, which enables fast transfer speeds of 480Mb/sec.

The VP6230 plays a selection of music files – including WMA, MP3 and WAB – through the Music to Play function. Bass, classic, live, rock and treble music sounds are all supported through the EQ system.

Songs can be organised into playlists and played in random order.
Video to Play displays MPEG-1 files at a resolution of 352×288 at 30fps, MPEG-4 at resolutions of 720×480 at 25fps and 640×480 at 30fps.

With dimensions of 128×76.5x30mm, the Vosonic VP6230 is supplied by a lithium-ion battery.
