Colour Confidence has been appointed UK distributor of a series of new Pantone/Gretag Macbeth monitor calibration devices for consumers.
Aiming to provide a calibration device for the photo hobbyist, as an alternative to the professional-orientated devices currently available, huey is designed with easy operation in mind. It can be adjusted depending on what the user is using their monitor for; be it playing games, looking at pictures or using the internet, and automatically corrects the monitor depending on changes to the room lighting.
For those who want increased controls, Eye-One Display LT offers more advanced tools and includes a wizard to provide quick and accurate monitor calibration, while Eye-One Display 2 offers additional control over the gamma and whitepoint settings.
The three products are the first to have been developed following a partnership between Pantone and GretagMacbeth that will see ?colour management become accessible to a wide variety of users, from consumers to professionals?.
