Mobile upload service extends photo-sharing support

Mobile image-sharing provider ShoZu has added TextAmerica and Webshots to its network of photo-sharing websites.

Mobile image-sharing provider ShoZu has added TextAmerica and Webshots to its network of photo-sharing websites. ShoZu is a free service that can be used to upload pictures directly from a mobile phone to an online sharing website, such as Flickr and now Webshots and TextAmerica. Once registered, ShoZu is available as a free download directly to mobile phones. Captions and tags can be added to photographs and videos before being sent directly to an online sharing site or email address. ShoZu claims that sharing costs are minimal, with users only paying for several hundred bytes of data. Mark Bole from ShoZu comments: ‘Never before has it been so easy to share the images created using a mobile phone with friends and family, via moblogging and photo-sharing sites.’ For more information log onto www.shozu.com
