Sony has introduced the T9, a slim-line addition to the Cyber-shot range incorporating double ‘anti-blur’ technology and a Carl Zeiss lens.
Super SteadyShot and High Sensitivity work together to reduce the effect of camera shake and blur when shooting in low-light conditions or capturing moving objects. The Super SteadyShot optical image stabiliser compensates for the effects of camera shake, while High Sensitivity includes Clear RAW NR technology, designed to reduce the effects of noise at higher ISO levels (up to 640.)
The 3x optical Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens incorporates a folded-lens path that doesn’t protrude from the slim 19mm body. The 2.5in LCD incorporates Sony’s new Clear Photo technology improving brightness and resolution, while an anti-reflection layer reduces the effect of reflections in bright conditions. The battery can be recharged and promises over three hours of playback.
Incorporated into the Cyber-shot T9 is the Slideshow with Music function enabling the user to create slideshows in-camera, choosing from: Active, Simple, Stylish and Nostalgic modes. Music can be added using a selection of background melodies, or for a more personalised effect you can use your own music through the supplied Picture Package software.
