Newly designed for use with Sigma telephoto and telephoto zoom lenses, the APO Tele Converter 1.4x EX DG and APO Tele Converter 2x EX DG are digitally optimised converters from Sigma.
Designed to fit between the lens and camera body without affecting the auto-focus speed, reduced flare and ghosting is promised from the multi-layer coating and lens design.
Extending the focal length to 1.4x that of the original lens, the APO Tele Converter 1.4x EX DG is constructed from five Elements in three groups. Its dimensions are 68.5×19.5mm and it weighs 160g.
Constructed from six elements in five groups the APO Tele Converter 2x EX DG increases the focal length by 2x. It measures 68.5x52mm and weighs 235g. Both have an aperture range of f/2.8-32.
