Kingston has announced U3DataTraveler USB drives available in capacities of 512MB and 1GB.
Incorporated into the drives is a U3 Launchpad, designed to create a secure workspace, that can be used for adding programs, changing settings, starting programs, managing storage and monitoring programs.
Pocket sized, the drive measures 66.9 x 20.4 x 9mm. A range of U3 software applications ? including photo imaging and graphic design programs ? is available for each drive from www.u3.com.

Compatible with Windows 200 SP4 and XP, the U3 DataTraveler USB smart drives can read data at a rate of 6MB/sec and write data at a rate of 3/Mb/sec.
