Kodak has scooped the highest rankings among US consumers in two of the four segments of the J.D. Power 2005 Digital Camera Satisfaction Study. The survey, asked over 4,000 recent digital camera purchasers to evaluate their camera by performance, connectivity, cost and appearance. Kodak Easyshare cameras ranked highest in two price categories – $200-399 and $199 or less – which, together comprise more than 85 percent of the U.S. market, according to NPD Techworld. This is the second year in a row that Kodak has captured the $200-399 price segment, which covers the company’s popular ‘Z’ range of models, including the Z700 and Z740.
