Tokina has introduced a new AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens, designed for Nikon and Canon DSLRs.
Offering a focal range of 12-24mm (equivalent to 18-36mm in a 35mm camera), the ultra-wideangle lens is compatible with digital SLRs that have an APS-C sensor.
Fast internal focusing is enabled by Tokina?s One Touch focus clutch mechanism, which makes it easy to swap between manual and auto focus and enables fast auto-focusing.
Incorporated into the lens are two sharp-cut aspherical elements for rectifying aspherical aberration, while Tokina?s SD Super Low Dispersion technology is designed to enable plenty of light at a bright aperture of f/4.
To ensure the lens is lightweight the outer lens barrels are made from advanced polycarbonate, while for durability the zoom unit is metal and has a chrome-plated brass mount. It also includes a non-rotating 77mm filter thread.
Available in September for £399.99 the AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens is distributed in the UK by Sangers Group. Find out more by calling 0870 444 0003.
