Following the release of the PSC 1610, HP has announced a new All-in-One device. Aimed at the home user, the HP PSC 1410 combines a printer, copier and scanner.
Supplied with the printer is an HP 22 Tri-Colour cartridge and HP 22 Tri-Colour Inkjet cartridge, enabling users to print in colour and black & white. Print speeds are 18ppm for mono and 13ppm in colour. It also has the ability to produce photo prints with a resolution up to 4800 x 1200dpi from a home computer.
Documents and photographs can be scanned using the 36-bit flatbed scanner, which has a resolution of 4800 x 1200dpi. Supplied with the PSC 1410 is HP Image Zone and HP Instant Share software, which can be used for organising, editing and sharing images.
