To mark its 100th year Barnardo?s is holding a photographic competition called ?The Face of Multicultural Britain Today.?
There are three categories for age groups: 10-15 year olds, 16-25 year olds and 25 and over. Entrants to each category need to take a photograph of what they consider to be multicultural in British society today.
Winners will have the opportunity to see their photos appear in the 2006 Barnardo?s calendar, which is available to buy later this year. Money raised from the sale of the calendar will help underprivileged children.
Entries need to be accompanied by a 50-word description and must not be enhanced digitally in any way. The competition closes on 27th June. Submissions should be sent to Barnardo’s Photographic Competition, 3rd Floor Howarine House, 5-6 Empire Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0XA.
