Sigma 300mm f/2.8 telephoto lens

Following the launch last week of two new Sigma lenses, the camera manufacturer has launched a new telephoto 300mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM lens. Constructed from 11 elements in 8 groups, the lens includes two ELD glass elements to help produce sharp images and reduce the effect of chromatic aberration. It features multi-layer coating to help reduce the effect of flare and ghosting, and an Internal Focus system that enables the lens to retain its overall length of 119mm when focusing. It includes a 46mm filter holder and Hyper Sonic Motor for fast and quiet auto focus operation. The f/2.8 EX DG HSM lens will cost £1799.99.
