Fujifilm FinePix Z2 Zoom

Enhanced sensitivity and LCD resolution feature on the new slim-line compact from Fujifilm.

Enhanced sensitivity and LCD resolution feature on the new slim-line compact from Fujifilm. Succeeding the award-winning Z1, the Z2 boasts an extended sensitivity range of ISO 1600, making it suitable for shooting in low-light conditions. The resolution of the scratch-resistant 2.5in LCD screen has been increased to 232,000 pixels. Featuring a 5MP Super CCD HR sensor, the Z2 includes a 3x optical f/3.5-4.2 lens (equivalent to 36-108mm in 35mm format) without protrusions; extending within the 18.6mm deep camera body. Adrian Clarke from Fujifilm comments: ‘It’s ironic that most ultra-slim cameras struggle where they are most frequently used – in low-light social situations, such as parties. With four times the sensitivity, combined with iconic design, the FinePix Z2 Zoom is a camera that truly qualifies as an evening companion.’ Fujifilm’s Real Photo Processor promises a reduction in blur effects and natural photographs. Other features include 30fps VGA movies with sound, and PictBridge compatibility. Available in black and white colours, no price has yet been announced for the Z2, which will be available to buy in November. Find out more at www.fujifilm.co.uk or by calling 0870 084 1310.
