Hope you don't mind me asking, there is a filter in gimp I hope to apply to a tree image that looks similar! hope to put in it on wdc tonight..Caroline
Re: ir filter Thanks CarolineOf coarse I don't mind you asking. I bought a cheap I.R. filter ( under £20 ), but it was taking 20 to 30 second exposures to get encouraging results. I'm thinking on getting my old D60 converted to I.R. This photo was done in Photoshop, I don't know Gimp, but if you can duplicate your background layer then invert it you would be able to do it in Gimp.. Graham
Re: ir filter well done Graham, Another good image,I bought an IR filter last year tried it 3 times in garden and then forgot about it, i paid £60 pounds from WEX. My panasonic required no mods ,but the view through the EVF was a little dark, another one added to the to do list.
