  Description for Night Train

Description by edgar-pr

Part of a series of photos for a black and white photo essay about London Waterloo Train Station. This is a 4 second exposure of a train just as it arrives. I had no tripod so I had to make do with placing the camera on top of one of the steel electrical cabinets.

Shot on Nikon D80 using my Nikon 50mm 1.4 AF-D.

Is funny when we can't have in hand a tripod...or in your case, a tripod substitute... I enjoy looking to people faces staring at me when I am my own tripod...I know I should look like contortionist. I enjoyed your picture, how the lights comes before the train, the strength that it has and bring to your photo ...And sad, but true I have my new NIkon but I still without notice where or how I can make the times works in my favour...(yes, I read the manual) (ah, sorry about my English, as my knowledge about my NIkon, is under construction)
