Not something I would get into Graham, but they are very impressive. Does it take a long time to do, and when you have created an image can you store the process so it can be done to any image at the press of a button. Second question how did you find the Nikon software....Regards Mike.

Hi Graham & Mike, Mike, Graham will give you a good tutorial, of that I'm sure. However, check this link out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YRrxsNpuFo you can get the program free that is in this YouTube video. The video shows you how to add colour to a B & W image. There are many other ways, however, if you are interested you can play around for hours and its free. Hope you are both well, Kind Regards Gary

Hi Guys, I use onone perfect B&w to do this it only takes a few seconds to do you can save it to a preset I don't do this as I change it with every photo. You can do it in photshop as well just duplicate your layer make a B&W conversion on the second layer then mask the B&W layer and paint where you want the colour. I have been playing around with NX2 it is a good program but don't think I buy it. Regards.... Graham

Thanks Graham and Gary for replies, I didn't think NX2 would be up your st, I don't use half the things it can do, but it suits my treatment of Raw images before I store them...Mike.
