Interesting image Graham which works well in B&W as there is a lot of contrast in it, the bench looks very old Graham, is that a concrete base the bench is set on?..Caroline -

It is well suited to B&W, the bench is very old and well past it's sell by date it does (or used to) sit on a concrete base.
