The Carpet of Flowers is displayed every other year in Brussels, the carpet is made of begonias and dahlias in the Grand-Place, hundreds of florist lay the carpet in one day! this view was taken from the balcony of the City Hall..

    Thank you Graham, yes the carpet was a blaze of colour! it was so hot some of the flowers were wilting so the florist replaced the flowers early in the mornings!..Caroline
