The camera is great although not with out its faults, i bought it year or so ago and it was a great introduction into starting to learn about photography, however i feel i am starting to out grow it and looking to trade up to a DSLR. the controls are tricky to use in manual mode and additional lenses are very expensive in comparison to DSLR lenses and there is not much of a second hand market.
It is great to travel and walk with though as its light and quite compact, i would recommend if you are looking to learn and want more than a compact can offer.
