Description for Half The Moon
Description by Blitz Photography & Prod
Taken using a tripod early this morning with my Sigma 70 - 200mm lens fitted with a 2 x Tele converter
with a focal length of 640mm with the Canon 60D and its 1.6 x crop
as close as i'm going to get with this set up

Hi Russ, what a cracker this is, I've used my own 120-400mm lens for these type of shots, and when the boat comes in I'm going to buy me a 800mm lens for Astro Photography. Well done mate , great image. All the best.Mike. -

cheers mike it was a clear morning not a cloud in the sky had the best chance to get this image to the best of my ability and all so test the new 60D out abit as the weather not been kind yet with all this rain
im looking in getting a new lens as well i would like to see shots a bit closer as i cant get any closer with the set up using the 70 - 200 with the converter fitted im looking to get the Sigma 150 - 500mm or the 50 - 500mm version as theses not much difference in the price im pushed more to the 50 - 500mm one after looking at the reviews ive saw on youtube of people that own one
might see then if there is any life on the moon lol
