Hi Graham and Mike, many thanks for your comments! they are most welcome, the image is genuine! I waited patiently in our back garden for the birds to arrive and I was rewarded with the pigeons!! I had to be really quick so I kept my finger on the shutter at all times! I also took a few more pics! will put them in the gallery for all to see. I am pleased to say I am having great fun with my 600D!..Caroline
