Lovely pic this is of one of our native Falcons. Not easy to photograph in the wild unless by sheer chance and being in the right place with the right lens. For me this is the better of the two because the one to the left is slightly underexposed due to the white sky behind the bird. I usually choose spot metering in these situations which should allow the sensor to expose for the bird and not be influenced by the white sky. I love the way you've framed the bird and put the background out of focus, well done. All the best, Mike.

Thanks a lot Mike! This wasn't a very difficult shot to take, I was sat on a beech and someone pointed out the bird on a cliff. I climbed up and slowly advanced towards it. It sat there and let me take about 200 pictures - this was the closest, and hasn't been cropped at all.
