I'd done a panorama while we were on top of a hill on Los Lobos island and stitched it together to make 1 long picture.
then you resize it to make it square, which compresses it down, flip it upside down then use the polar coordinates tool in photo shop.
there's plenty of videos on youtube showing how to do it
