This is my final entry and one I've thought hardest about to really address the theme of the power of colours. It shows the use of colours to communicate using flags.

Colours have a huge power to communicate. This is really evident in the use of flags. This photo contrasts the Union Jack, made up of the massively important reds, whites and blues of the United Kingdon's individual flags, with the red and yellow of semaphore's Oscar flag for use at sea.
In the background, London's Monument to the Great Fire of 1666 makes a completely unexpected contribution with its gold crown; a colour that's made people do all sorts of crazy things over the years! -
