Interestingly what resolution (in mega pixels) do you both shoot with? I find myself shooting high (about 6mb) for as much clarity as possible, therefore if I wish to crop I am able to do so liberally. However, I end up reducing most of my file sizes for reasons such as storage space, digital editing time (which is faster on smaller files) and presentation purposes as some files can be ridiculously large in size.
