Sorry guys - whilst digital (done properly) is a Big Step Up from 35mm there's still no competition with good quality 100ASA transparency film in MF or LF for the sort of subjects which they're appropriate for.

When we start seeing digital backs in 6x9 cm format, at a price which even the poorer third world countries can afford, then film will be finished.
