Hi. I am about to go on a ski weekend and I am very keen to take my camera for the first time upto the snowy slopes. I have a canon 40d and the following sigma lenses 10-20, 28-70, 70-200 and a 2x teleconverter (quite a bit to lug about on the slopes). I was thinking of taking my 10-20 and 28-70 with the 2x teleconverter - any thoughts ? Is it best to use partial metering when taking pictures of my subject and then add exposure compensation to make the snow look more natural ? Any other advice would be much appreciated and thankyou.
