    Default Focus Point Selection F50

    I have been having a problem with the Focus Area Selection on my D50.

    When my Sigma 18-50 HSM is fitted, all works OK. When I change to my Nikon 28-100, I am unable to move the selection point. Any ideas, anyone?

    My first thought was that the 28-100 hasn;t got an inbuilt AF motor so that's the reason, but IIRC the D50 has it's own AF motor in the body hasn't it?

    Have you got a thrid lens that you could try it on?
