It was an early start this morning – 5.30am – but it was worth the bleary eyes as i’m off to the ultimate photo trade show in Anaheim, California. This year’s event has been over shadowed somewhat by a more photo friendly CES (consumer electronics show) in Vegas, Canon choosing not to attend, and its move to its new location. However, after a snowy January disrupting travel plans and a pick up in the economy, PMA may just have some supprises up its sleeve. Certainly the other major players are all there in force, from Nikon and Sony to the up and coming Samsung.

My blog over the next few days will attempt not only to sum up the major events and releases from the show but also to capture the mood of the industry and hopefully someunexpected gems too.
