Default help with buying my first dslr camera and which lense do i need

    hi guys

just joined your forum and new to photography , Im hoping to buy a camera etc this week if I make my mind up

im thinking about buying a canon 700d body only (not with the standard 18-55) instead upgrading the lense straight away.

any help with which canon lense would be best for me would be so helpful . price range 200-400 , thinking about some wildlife and sport(cycling) photography , as well as photos off kids on holiday etc
would a 18-200 mm lense tick the boxes for me ?

    thanks a lot

Hi and welcome the 700d is a good starting point. not sure about the lens 18-200. the idea of a DSLR is get the right lens for the job. wild life you need to be looking at a 300 or above lens cycling depends how near you are to the action. i would say look at a 2 lens deal if you can, get a 18-55 plus 55-250 and you are good to get started
