    Hi Graham,

    Many thanks for the advise & I will certainly look at the lenses you have mentioned. I have ordered all the above equipment but it is not a problem simply because the supplier does not have them in stock anyway. Going to spend the rest of the evening looking up the two lenses you kindly advised on. Many thanks

    Hi & many thanks for your advise regarding which camera I should buy. I have now settled on the Nikon D600 simply because so many people & a couple of professional photographers recommend it.

    Hi
    I've just put a photo on the nature & wildlife gallery, It was taken with a Nikon 70-300mm lens at 300mm with a cropped sensor Nikon, giving a focal length of around 450. Once your gear is fixed up the forum members will get you up and running in no time, if I think on anything else in the mean time I'll put a post up.... regards Graham
